No heating or hot water
Check the boiler has power and the thermostat and timer are calling for heat. If it still won’t fire up, call us.
Pressure keeps dropping
Topping up every few days usually points to a leak or a faulty valve somewhere in the system.
Banging, gurgling or kettling
Often trapped air or limescale build-up. Worth having looked at before it gets worse.
Radiators cold at the top
Usually trapped air, and bleeding the radiator often fixes it. If it keeps coming back, there’s a bigger cause.
An error code on the display
Make a note of the code and your boiler make when you call. It helps us bring the right parts first time.
A yellow or orange flame
A healthy gas flame burns blue. Stop using the appliance and have it checked, as this can be a sign of carbon monoxide.
Open doors and windows, don’t use electrical switches or naked flames, turn the gas off at the meter if you can, and call the National Gas Emergency Service.
